SUPREMATIST REFLECTIONS

SUPREMATIST CHAPEL

Digital Collage | September 2022

while studying different art movements in the past year, i came across one that specially talked to me: suprematism.

originated in russia, between 1915-1916 by kazimir malevich, its attempt was to represent the world of ideas through complete geometrical abstraction.

i’m not sure what was it, but something within it connected with me and i felt the need to adapt it.

therefore, suprematist reflections is my attempt to resignify suprematism by adding my own aesthetic conception: 60s travel.

FLY THE WORLD

Collage/Paper Art | October 2022

My representation of the wonder that was the Jet Age.
As Frank Sinatra sings:

Come fly with me

Let’s fly, let’s fly

away.

AIR-LINE

Collage/Paper Art | September 2022

The smooth feeling of flying in a jet over the sky.

MONORAIL COMPOSITION

Collage/Paper Art | September 2022

*Jazz playing in the background*

I consider this piece as the transition between the spatial fever and the suprematist era of my work. Combining a monorail moving through the darkness of the universe along the brightness of a suprematist constellation.

SUNSET

Collage/Paper Art | September 2022

The gradual transition of the day into the night.
